Louisville, KY, May 2024 - Two original paintings depicting Valhalla Golf Club, created by golf artist and philanthropist Cassy Tully, and signed by Jack Nicklaus will be auctioned and raffled at the 2024 PGA Championship to benefit the Kentucky Golf Foundation.
Valhalla Golf Club was designed by professional golfer and PGA Trustee Jack Nicklaus, and his vision takes center stage on Cassy’s paintings, each of which depict the sweeping greens of Holes #9 and #18, anchored by the iconic clubhouse.
The Kentucky PGA and the PGA REACH Foundation are hosting Cassy for the 2024 PGA Championship, including an exclusive meet-and-greet event. As a special highlight at the event, she will attend a Member Party on May 17th, to present her artwork and share her signature relief-painting technique with members and their guests.
“Having Jack Nicklaus’s signature on an original painting is a rare occurrence and an opportunity for golf enthusiasts to add these paintings to their collection,” said Sally Morgan, PGA Executive Director at Golf House Kentucky. “We are pleased to partner with Cassy, whose artistic expertise captured Valhalla so remarkably.”
The Kentucky PGA is “dedicated to the promotion of the game of golf and providing ongoing education and professional development of Kentucky PGA Professionals,” while the PGA of America REACH Foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America.
